About the Founder
Hi, I'm Cynthia Luo. I run Stay Monthly SF as a focused part-time project that connects renters with furnished monthly rooms through established hotel partners.
Why I Started This
When I first moved to San Francisco, I saw how difficult it was to find a furnished place without immediately signing a long apartment lease, buying furniture, and setting up utilities. Stay Monthly SF grew from that practical gap.
I maintain direct relationships with hotel operators that can support one-month-or-longer stays. The current rooms are furnished private rooms near Powell Street BART, with shared- and private-bath options and access to WiFi, a shared kitchen, laundry, and common areas.
I personally review each request, confirm the room type, price, dates, and current availability, and stay available if questions come up during the process.
The lease is issued through the hotel partner, while payments are coordinated through me. If you want to verify the arrangement before moving forward, you can book a weekday tour, confirm the partnership with hotel staff or the front desk, or message me for available records and past renter feedback.
What I Believe
- →Land first, decide later. A furnished monthly room gives you time to learn the city before committing to a longer apartment lease.
- →Terms should be clear. Room type, monthly price, deposit, dates, and included amenities are confirmed before a lease moves forward.
- →Verification is welcome. Renters can tour during weekday hours or confirm the partnership with hotel staff before committing.
